Five Year Regional Economic Roadmap
This roadmap was developed through a process of community engaged that started on March 18, 2010 and involved meeting with regional stakeholders including business, schools, non-profits, and government to develop a roadmap that reflected Windsor-Essex. This roadmap adopted by the community on February 9, 2011 helped to identify the nine (9) industry sectors for diversifying our economy, the ten (10) building blocks need to build strength into our community, and the plan to move forward over the next five years. Pulse of the Region - Business Survey
The annual “Pulse of the Region” business confidence survey done in partnership with the Odette School of Business captures the perceptions of local business leaders regarding current and future business conditions and economic trends in the Windsor-Essex County region. Specifically, the report addresses executives’ views and/or their organization’s results with respect to:
- Government policy
- Sales and financial performance
- Condition of the economy
- Investment, capacity and productivity prices
- Employment levels
- Inventory and production
