EventsPlastics Trade Mission to MexicoWednesday, Mar. 17, 2010 An upcoming (March 17-26, 2010) trade mission to Mexico, being hosted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) in cooperation with the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service and Export Development Canada. The mission will visit the major manufacturing centres of Monterrey and Saltillo (northern region) and Queretaro and Mexico City (central region). Your program will include customized business meetings with potential customers and partners in each location, site visits to major firms in Mexico, market briefings, visits to Plastimagen 2010 in Mexico City (Latin America's leading exhibition for the plastics industry) and participation in a technical seminar in which Ontario firms will present their capabilities to a pre-qualified audience. This mission is aimed at Ontario manufacturers of molds, tools and dies for plastics applications in a wide range of industries, manufacturers of machinery and equipment and producers of plastics materials. MEDT has posted a deadline of February 12, 2010 for your application to be submitted and are only choosing 6 companies to attend. The mission fee is $800 per company (2 delegates maximum) to cover program costs. Participants are responsible for their own airfare, accommodation, meals and personal expenses.
